RUMOR: The Flash/Supergirl To Crossover!
Before you settle down to enjoy your Thanksgiving dinner, we have a couple of rumors that should make fans of DC TV very happy indeed... provided they're true, that is. Bleeding Cool reports that plans are in place for CBS to introduce the main cast of the CW's The Flash to Supergirl for a crossover episode scheduled for next May. The show was originally picked up for 13 episodes, but CBS has an option for a back nine to bring the season up to 22, and apparently they believe Supergirl will need the ratings boost a meeting with the Scarlet Speedster would no doubt provide.
Obviously it could be a while before we find out if any of this is on the level, but keep an eye out for any updates that might come our way.
I'd be surprised to see this happen. Have two different networks done a crossover event like this before?
I guess if it can happen this is one of the few times it could. I looked it up and CBS is the parent company for CW ( along with warner bros). So it wouldn't be like shows on NBC and CBS hooking up. It would be more like an Alabama wedding , where the bride and groom are already related.

Supergirl has been picked up by CBS for a full season order of 20 episodes.
The show has dropped in ratings since its debut, but thats pretty standard for shows like this, where people might be curious about checking it out, only to realize that its not what they were hoping for. But the ratings havent dropped to a staggering low, making Supergirl good enough to keep around for at least a whole season.
Supergirl already had an order for 13 episodes, so CBS just tacked on an additional seven episodes for the season. Usually a full season order is 22 episodes, but it can be more or less depending on the show. More than likely, since Supergirl started in late October, they didnt want to add on two more episodes and keep the show going deep into the summer.
The ratings for Supergirl remain solid, with CBS saying that the show currently pulls in an average of 11.24 million viewers. Thats up 46% in viewership compared to the same time slot from last year.
Yea, but she's hotter with the nerd look!
Ok, so hair pulled back and glasses on. She could be a flying super nerd.
J'onn j'onzz is a pretty awesome character. Dude needs to step up his game a little more though. I get that he's hiding but he's obviously a good guy and it seems like wasted potential.
