Superman vs Batman movie coming in 2015!

Is there going to be a Luthor in this movie? Wouldn't mind if they went with a different villain. I hope the third one is Doomsday.

A article in favor of the Red Sox fan and actor Ben Affleck as The Batman.

I don't think people hate Affleck they hate that he was in the crap unimpressive movie Daredevil which was not successful. It didnt suck at the box office but as far as quality it's very far from Batman Begins, Captain America The First Avenger, etc not even close.

Captain America was garbage. An all time terrible movie.

Well bale sucked as batman. People were also upset with Michael Keaton casting but he was solid. Val Kilmer and clooney sucked.

It's not like he has hard acts to follow.

Not sure where you get this one at all.

I didn't get the Heath Ledger thing. I always thought he was an awesome actor, even when he was kind of known for just being in chick flicks and Brokeback Mountain.

It seemed like a reach at the time. He hadn't shown a lot prior to that.

I actually think both Kilmer and Clooney were good choices they were just unfortunate to work with a terrible director.

Clooney would actually be a good pick for a Dark Knight Returns adaptation or as a Batman Beyond Bruce Wayne.

I was always partial to Keaton. He did a great job and he made the character seem crazy enough to be a billionaire by day and a vigilante by night.

As for as Clooney & Kilmer goes, even the best actors can only do so much with the material they have to work with!

I bought Keaton as Bruce Wayne, but not as Batman. He never seemed in nearly good enough shape for me to believe he could pull off the physical demands of being Batman.

Kilmer was ok, but he had crap to work with. By then the series had gone almost full cartoon. Clooney never had a shot.

I still think Bale is the most believable as the total package of Batman, even though the voice thing knocks him down a peg. He was less believable as Wayne to me but much more believable as Batman than Keaton.

If Cranston is Luthor, nothing short of Michael bay directing and then blowing up my house on the way is going to stop me from seeing it.

Old news but I hadn't seen it.

The Michigan Film Office announced today that the next DC Entertainment Super Hero movie from Warner Bros. Pictures has been approved for a film incentive from the state.

The film, from director Zack Snyder, brings together the two greatest Super Heroes of all time—Superman and Batman—for the first time on the big screen. Production on the new film is expected to begin in metro Detroit and throughout Michigan sometime in the first quarter of 2014. Snyder is co-writing the story with David S. Goyer, who is writing the screenplay. Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing the film, which will star Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.

With the film now planning a Michigan shoot, Zack Snyder's still-untitled Superman/Batman film is racing through pre-production.

“One of the things that has been fun for us," screenwriter David S. Goyer tells The Associated Press (via Comic Book Therapy), "is we’re a bit a further along than what I think people realize."..........

Looks like some filming is underway!

BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Shoots This Weekend in Los Angeles
This upcoming weekend Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder have organized a film shoot for the highly anticipated Batman Vs. Superman in Los Angeles at the East Los Angeles College campus. This will be a huge crowd scene at a football game, and the first 2000 attendees will be given t-shirts.

Here's the information about the shoot that comes from the Campus News. If you end up going to this game please send us some photos!

Warner Bros. Pictures new untitled Superman/Batman project comes to film at East Los Angeles College Weingart stadium during halftime of the Oct. 19 Husky football game.

Zack Snyder, who directed films such as this past summer’s blockbuster Man of Steel, and other movies like 300, Watchmen, and Sucker Punch, directs the upcoming film.

ELAC and Victor Valley College will kickoff the game at 6:30 p.m. At halftime, the stadium will transform into Gotham City University home stadium.

Warner Bros. Pictures announced through a press release that Snyder and producers of the film are looking for people in the Los Angeles area, preferably ELAC students, to be extras for the upcoming film.

The stadium will be made into the backdrop for a football game between Gotham City University and rival Metropolis State University.

The first 2,000 people who sit in the filming area of the stadium will receive T-shirts designed by Snyder for those participating in the filming and prizes will be raffled throughout the night.

The crowd will sport Gotham Citys colors, black and gold.

The film will shoot three takes of three plays during halftime. The crew will be capturing the actors and crowd’s reactions.

ELAC’s College event and Venue Coordinator, Ernest Burnett, said that the filming will be about 20 minutes during halftime. The second half of ELAC’s game will follow the film shoot.

Snyder decided to use ELAC’s stadium to support ELAC and the community.

“They could have done this on a night when we didn’t have a home game. They wanted to support the school,” Burnett said.

ELAC has approached the feature film industry to gain revenue for the college. Features films want to use ELAC because it’s a film friendly school.

“Our visibility among the film community is higher than a lot of schools and I have to give a lot of credit. The experiences of the people that have come and shot here are very good. Because students know the deal now, like they notice the production truck and then move on to class, it’s more common,” Burnett said.

“Feature films don’t usually use community college campuses, because feature films’ schedules change and we can’t accommodate. But we want their business because they come for weeks not just a day. We want to make a lot of money over a small smaller amount of time,” Burnett said.

“It’s also a big opportunity for us (ELAC), and to cheer on our Huskies. Victor Valley is not a bad team,” Burnett said.
