Supreme Court covers Cross

I agree, but he does care about what you do with the riches he has blessed you with. All I have tried to say on this matter is what I believe.

I knew your "devil" comment was in jest, but it is very real and more true then most will ever admit.

I believe we are probably very close in thinking on the subject. I will add that my personal belief is that God cares more about how riches effect the man as much as much as anything else.

to try and "convert" you or him over a forum.
KB also answered his question to which I replied with a smile. I was not going to go to the "devil" answer but it is a very legitimate one. The devil allows alot of people to do very well financially so that they have the "I do not need God" attitude.

so i'm going to hell? that's what happens when the devil helps you right? i'd be willing to bet i live a lot more "christian" (outside of church and praying) than the overwelming majority of the people in your church.

if you're already going do you want to room together? Could be fun :)

And this has been my problem with churches over the years. You are correct and the "Holier than thou" attitude effected my faith for some time.

I much prefer to have a personal relationship with God, I need no man to stand between us. I am not a follower by nature.

ucla stinks, but i'm not sure cal is any better. that and cal hasn't won at the rose bowl this decade. i still picked cal though (homer pick probably?)

Yes but that is Old Testament, Jesus ushered in a new age and made the Old Testament books of history. Not saying the OT isn't important, there are many very important lessons that can be learned from it, Lot's story being one of them.

Book of James my friend. Read it once a day!

:eek:k:

My answer was made in jest.

I don't pray as often as I should but a couple of times a week I ask that he helps me be the best father, husband and man that I can be. I ask that he helps make me successful, not rich mind you but my family has needed a little boost every now and again to get over financial humps and so far we have made it.

I don't think God cares one iota about money or riches. I don't pretend to know if he actually had a hand in making sure a little extra work came my way or not. I am very careful about what I lay at the feet of God or the Devil.

Prayer of Jabez or the Secrets of the Vine!

Without a doubt you do..........

Yeah, the whole dock worker toboggan and dog collar doesn't work for me.

The blood, maybe we can compromise.

Edit: nm...not worth it.

The word "convert" means to change ones way of thinking, I said nothing about your salvation, that is between you and God
As for living more "Christian" than most of the people that attend my Church, I would hope that you aim a little higher than that.
