I don't think that's quite correct. And if it were, why haven't the conservative-oriented posts with just pics been deleted, too?

Rather, I think my gifs were censored for their content.

You can do that, it not being a First Amendment issue or anything,. Just seems content-based decision.

Yes they were deleted due to content. We delete content that doesnt advance the discussion and sucks all the time.

Good point.

We, however, return to the problem for Romney, which is that he did it first. And then said that it should be done nation-wide.

It's going to be tough for that to gain traction. Ultimately, his plan didn't get an extra cent added to anyone's tax bill outside of MA. If Romney campaigns against this 'tax', he's going to win.

Obama and the congressional Democrats have now officially passed the biggest tax hike in American history.

That's certainly what they're boxed into now. Looks like the "tax and spend liberal" page of the play book just moved to the front.

I thought constitutionality of tax laws could not be ruled on until fines are assessed?

From what CNN reporting, Roberts wrote that the mandate wouldn't hold up under the commerce clause but would hold up as a tax issue.

I'm thinking this could really backfire come Nov. It gives the GOP enough time to crunch the numbers and present some very damning scenarios

Even so, the damage is done. There is no turning back from this as a country, and this is just another sign of we the people losing our freedoms. This will screw up nearly everyone's current coverage until they have switched to the government plan. Big companies are going to drop healthcare for their employees as it will be cheaper for them to just pay a fine instead. This is what Obama wanted all along.

So basically the government can now fine anyone for doing (or not doing) anything the government deems appropriate. No limit on dictating behavior through taxes?

The biggest irony of this entire debate has been that the fiscal responsibility whereby you must pay into the system you are using is a Republican idea.

They were for it before it before they were against it.

John Kerry would be proud.
