Talent Gap is closing (not there yet) and…

I think next season is make or break for Josh Heupel. If our offense doesnt find some answers next season and improve and if we dont drastically improve penalties/undisciplined play...I dont know how you sell Heupel going forward.

Wow. I honestly don’t have any idea how any sane fan can come to this conclusion.

If there are others in this camp, please help me.

The standard at this point is just make a 12 team playoff and we can’t even do that. This was once a program with tons of SEC championships. Now we are just happy to hang around. It’s laughable yet amazingly sad. We should hang a banner at the end of the years that says first runner up playoffs 2024.

WTH?

You said big wins on the road.
Every road game in the SeC is a hostile environment
But every win isn’t a big win!
Some are just taking care of business like you should

Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Mizzou aren’t really what I’d call hostile lmao

Next year if a big year for him. It’s the double edge sword for overachieving, you get a lot of grace from the fanbase but also they expect more quickly than they originally did. If he doesn’t win a championship by the end of next season it doesn’t mean he will never do so. It’s not make or break by any means, that is beyond silly but it’s still a big year. The goal has to be to win a championship while Nico is in school.

Nah. He ain't going anywhere, but another stale offense next year will certainly have a negative impact on offensive skill player recruiting. If I'm a WR, I'd have more than a few doubts about playing in this offense.

Heupel‘s got a lot of explaining to do. He needs to start by explaining why he took a dumpster fire of a program to a potential playoff spot in 4 years while losing half of the roster in year 1.

We will be only be better if or wide receivers learn how to run routes, and catch the ball when it hits them in the hands. Our defense will be more consistent when we get another LB who plays with the better awareness of his gap responsibilities, and when we get another safety or two who have the speed and agility to play man defense. OH, I forgot to mention, a more diverse offense with plays which can be adjusted to what the defense is playing.

Well let’s see , we lost at Mizzou last year?
Vandy under the tenor of the idiots
Kentucky?? I don’t recall at the moment
But I’d say that’s pretty hostile

Hostile is just how loud and opposing crowds are. None of those schools have crowds and stadiums that really have a major impact on games. You can still lose to them obviously lol
