Hell yes. And if you're belief is that we should have, which I am open to hearing, then you should have destroyed it.

It was meant for the ANA. Are you saying we shouldn't have left them anything? I will call you a liar if you say that had we not left anything you would be b******* about us leaving them high and dry.

The equipment being left behind was a political lose/lose any way you cut it.

Are you saying we shouldn't have left that equipment behind?

I don't think Newsmax has addressed that talking point yet, on one hand we left our allies high and dry and on the other we left them too much equipment.

I'm sure a think tank is assessing which route will piss off thier constituency the most and sell that to the media.

Yes it was screwed up but the end result was always going to be the same. Our troops come home and the Taliban takes over.

This handwringing over what some Brit thinks is laughable

You do realize this doesn't appear to have been well coordinated with our allies either. That is why other nations are condemning the way we withdrew - Britain, Australia, etc.

They're terrorists and cowards. Dress it up all you wish but they fit the definition to a T.

Neither you nor @Septic want to confront the question or facts head on...

Other than the official government narrative, what makes them terrorists? And if you want to use this "domestic terrorist" definition, the label gets slapped on them by the sitting government they oppose.

Kind of like the way domestic terrorist has been applied to some conservative Americans. You going to go along with that label as well?

Where are you seeing this? At EVERY step...Biden told them to ignore SOP?
Yes. that’s exactly what happened. We have a SOP. We could not get it done following the SOP in the time frame Biden wanted so we ignored SOP and our guys in administration were told it was on ZBidens orders

The equipment talking point and outrage over it is really front and center proof nobody is thinking about this in any critical way. Some just want something to feign outrage about.

The silly part about this is there is not a single person in this thread that disagrees on two main points:

1. It was good that we left.
2. Biden botched it.

It's the screaching and over the top dramatics that is the basis of disagreements.

They're literally killing opponents and non supporters and that's the same thing they did previously. If you want to compare them to the poor demonized white male maga crew that's fine but it's absurd.

Give me a link. I'm not tracking this.

They can plan their own escape. It's been 20 freaking years

Ooohhh...you'll call me a liar? Lol.

There isnt a single thing executed here that is defensible. A complete clusterf.

Again, so what? Our guys are home and the tax coffers are now free to be waisted on other things. Nobody on the right cared for four years about the optics, now everyone is piled up on the fainting couch about the optics about people that the right has vilified for 20 years.

Suddenly compassion for a bunch of Muslims is the new hotness and we're supposed to believe it?

Actually our guys are not home. There were about 2500 soldiers over there and now that we withdrew there are 6-7 thousand.

Apparently pointing out the feigning of outrage is carrying Bidens water. I guess it's all they have left since admitting it was only a week ago when optics mattered to them again is also poor optics. Ironic.

I think soon they'll start trying to convince us they really care about the Afghani people who failed at every level to shore up a strategy to make a transition.

Don't be coy, they're coming home. Or are you upset that more went back to stabilize the refugee seeking Afghani situation?
