Talk about in dream land...

So gator fans have us as an automatic win. I like it. I know I know something about a streak. I don't give a rat's behind about streaks myself. This is a new year. I'm not about to guarantee a victory but I think karma backs us this year.

Some Vol fans here have UF as an automatic win.

Crazy isn't it?

Most reasonable fans have UT as a "should win." The game is @UT, and an upset is certainly possible, but if you look at Florida's perceived strengths and UT's perceived weaknesses, it looks like a favorable match up to anyone not wearing bright orange glasses.

It comes down to UT breaking in new starters on the OL and DL.

UF appears to have a decided advantage in the trenches.

I visit both and as I stated I think 8 is the #. There are guys that are so called experts and get paid that have FL winning 10... Not so crazy when you read a bunch of TN fans having UT winning 8 and I haven't seen an expert predict that...

According to Rivals Florida has out recruiter FSU the last five season by averaging a top five class each year. Florida is second only to Bama in talent when compared to other SEC teams. FSU is preseason #1, Bama #2, UF isn't even in the top 25 AP poll.

Florida is in no way a "should win" IMO. They're a "could win" if Florida plays poorly and UT plays out of their minds, mistake-free football.

Haha you just don't get it do you. We will beat them. It will be a night to remember.

Point is Tn will and should be a decided underdog to Florida and it will take a great UT effort with help from the Gators if UT is to win.

That depends on how well we show against Oklahoma. Florida is usually undefeated when they play Tenn. Not only will that not be the case this year but they will have a blowout loss on film as well. Some of you are conceding too much...their offense will still be terrible.

What do you base your opinion of UF's offense on?

It's not as though we needed Wuerffel, Harvin or Emmitt to out score you guys lately.

Oh, come now...Jeff Driskell is your QB (sucks)...Your WR's are not playmakers including Dunbar and you're replacing 3 starters on the Off line including a really good one (Halapio)...you also lost Trey Burton and will have a new OC whose actual duties while under Cutcliffe are not clear. You will, however, have an open date to recover from your beating at Alabama while we play at Georgia, but nevertheless there are plenty of reasons for Tenn to be confident here.

No not lately, but UF will have to bring their A game to win in Knoxville this year, (and they normally do) this won't be like the past seasons where UT lays down at the first sign of trouble. The Gators will be in for a fight on Rocky Top, if you don't believe me just ask SC or UGA about last season in Knoxville.

None of those reasons include UT's OL or DL.

Okay... Driskel is 12-4 as a starter and went 11-2 in 2012. You forgot Robinson and a few other young WRs that will help. How about the transfer TE McGee that is a proven receiver and will stretch the field. As already beat to death, FL will be solid at TB.

I don't know that UF expects UT to fold at the first sign of trouble.

I think it's more a case of UT being surprised that UF actually came to compete for 60 minutes, in spite of what appears to be adverse conditions.

See last year after Driskel got hurt...2012 after hearing how great UT was after the NC State game...Brantley's first road game as a starter in 2010...2006 when we were down 10 in the second half...2005 running a new gimmick offense with an "unproven" coach from Utah...our final TD drive in 2000 (no, it wasn't a catch)...going all the way back to 1996 with the entire state of Tennessee hungry for revenge.

Historically UF has had little trouble getting motivated to play you guys, and competing until the very end.
