40mm circa 2000. It's got the lug holes, which I like.

My Omega is a 42mm for reference.

Thanks, automatic sellita movement. Accurate but I've never timed it too closely. I never wear a watch for more than a few days at a time. It is really well built though.

Need one of these someday too! Although the Explorer I is finally started to grow on me. Not sure which way I would go these days.

Still rocking the Tudor BB58! Have put her on a timing run (using the WatchTracker app) and over 12.1 days she’s running at an average of -0.93 seconds per day! Pretty badass!

I take it you’ve seen the Hodinkee video with Mayer focused solely on the Big Pilots? Good video if you haven’t. Love those watches. Just wish they weren’t so huge

Yes I've seen that one as well. I tried on the IWC Mark viii once and I think it's about 40mm. More manageable size. The blue dial in ceramic black is gorgeous.
