He lives really close to Tennessee, and lists us on rivals, so I thought maybe we had a chance.

Pretty sure he is a bama lock. I gave up on him a long time ago. Maybe things have changed but I doubt it.

ive played against this kid before when i was younger and jsut thought he was better cause he was bigger then everyone else and then i heard all the talk about him at NJ and i went to chech him out...he is LEGIT....he was in on every play and when he hit you he hit you HARD he will be a reall good one whereever he lands....hes jsut got to keep his grades straight

I think it comes down between us and bama. I thought he was a bama lock but it appears he hasn't made any decision. He was at the Bama/UT game so we are still in the hunt. Alabama is loaded at LB with primarilly 5 stars (jerrell harris, nico johnson, hightower, mcclain,others) so early playing time favors us. North Jackson is 10 minutes from TN stateline and neither UT, Bama, or Auburn own it recruiting wise. Ali Shariff (WR) plays WR for Bama but doesn't mean much in my opinion.

I played against Tana from the age of 8 til about 14. I remember one year in little league he didnt make weight to be a running back so they put him at tackle an they would fumble on purpose an let him go back an pick it up the kid is a crazy good athlete. I have watched him a few games in high school an he had about 15+ tackles everytime. He would be a excellent addition for the vols but i think it will tough to get him with so. cal, florida, bama, an fsu being all over him

Alright, don't you guys believe that our chances with this kid improve with the new staff? I mean if this kid gets a call from Monte then he could definately be a Vol.

His squat max is either out of this world for a HS Sr or he's on steroids/it's not listed correctly. It's 2.5 times his body weight.
