Tankers Attacked In Gulf: Price of Oil Up

What is really irritating is the leaks getting out in the first damn place. We should know the strikes occur when they are reported.

That should be your biggest concern... the leaks.

Our enemies here at home pose a far greater danger to us in the present term than a country like Iran halfway around the globe.

Finally we agree on something. Iran isn’t a physical threat to us. They are a threat to our economy as well as every other economy in the developed world with their proximity to the Strait of Hormuz but they are not going to hurt us.

Where is your fire and venom towards the Saudis?

You didn't ask. But, should be pretty easy to ascertain as to how I feel.

You're blind, naive, and gullible to not understand that this ending is already written.

You're glad I'm not in charge for making attrition the immediate cause of action, ok.

These people are driven by ideology, an ideology that has been causing war for thousands of years. That isn't going to change. Tell you what, move their and take your rah rah to the streets with them. Just don't say you are an atheist or agnostic or christian. You might find out that you have a problem on your hands.

But....but....Obama. Get back in your time machine and come on back to 2019.

We are so divided right now that not many of us care to see the truth.

You have lefties looking for any opportunity they can to bash Trump just because he's Trump and you have neocons on the right with a hard on to attack a country halfway around the globe that poses no threat to the US mainland or anything else of importance to the average American.

I'm not sure how long Trump can hold out, but his decision to not act yesterday should be looked at as a victory for mankind.

We need to pull away from the sandbox and instead focus on patrolling our own border. We've got illegals pouring in to the country everyday, yet we are sending drones halfway around the world to skirt around Iranian waters.

Which one is the more immediate threat to Main Street America? Tha Mexican border or Iran?

They are no threat to our economy or anyone else's economy, either. They have zero incentive to restrict shipping lanes in Hormuz anymore than China does in the South China Sea/Straits of Malacca. Large exporting or importing nations have no desire to restrict the free flow of goods.

His tweet would have still been made. No way it stays silent
I just now saw the tweet.

But did you read what he said in the tweet? I've never seen any other president verbalize this, but he weighed out the number of lives that would be lost for the enemy vs what was done in shooting down an unmanned drone.

I think it would be very hard to criticize that decision.

The biggest problems in that region is extremist Sunni/Wahhabi Islam supported by the Saudis and extremist Zionism in Israel.

The number would likely have been available when he first made the decision. He either didn't care to ask when he gave the first auth or he's embellishing a bit.

Ultimately the correct decision was made but it comes to this because of decades of short sighted US foreign policy. Errors we're still repeating

I'm willing to bet he probably didn't care initially. What matters is that it did begin to weigh on him after a while.

I think that is all you can ask.

Now, having said that, he will (unjustifiably) be beaten on both sides of the aisle. The Dems will use this as a campaign tool to say he is weak, indecisive and unqualified. The neocons will use it as a way to shame him into action on the next event they try to cook up over there.

Back to disagreeing. Oh well it was good while it lasted. “Death to America!” Yeah that’s a peace loving mantra

Unfortunately for Trump he's now having to deal with the consequences of his own decisions. "But Obama" isn't going to play any longer here.

We get to mention Obama the next 6 years especially on this subject.
