I can still see why he would be a three-star recruit, as far as track speed and overall size. But I think he is best served on offense and could be a very good change-of-pace back. I don't think he will win the heisman by any means, but I would probably grade him as a 5.6 or 5.7 three-star--a high one. He delivered some punishing hits in the BA game, I believe, because we had some injuries and really had no choice but to play him on defense. We were down by a lot and his play really ignited us. We lost by three, but we were so close. Got stopped on 4th and 1. Oh well.
Anyway, I don't want to sound like too much of a homer for Ensworth, but I think high 3 is reasonable. Borderline Tennessee player, but I could easily see him becoming one of MTSU's best players if he ends up there. They would have a nice group of RBs.
if you want to see some of him at RB, it's kind of complicated but bear with me:
The Ensworth School
go there and click "Media Library" at the top of the page.
then, click "Browse Library" and select "Athletics" from the list, and go to EHS Football 2007 or 2006. This was before our QB graduated so T didn't have to play there. In 2006 he was #2 and in 2007, #9. The play I was referring to happened in 2006 against Rossville Christian, and it was actually a run that occurred towards the end of the highlights. But he also has a great punt return in the middle. That was a team that we killed, though, so take it with a grain of salt I guess, but I recommend it at least for simple entertainment if not any kind of recruiting analysis.
