If you are hoping that Nico takes over 4 or 5 games into next season, you are gonna be greatly disappointed. Nico will see mop up duty or we will have sucked terribly to start the season.
Damn, I was hoping he would at least stick it out through spring practice.[/QUOTE
I was hoping he would stay too. I would like to see Nico throw with a 300 lb lineman trying take his head off. Hopefully Jackson will rethink his decision and stay. We need 3 serviceable quarterbacks in the SEC. Hopefully Nico is the real deal.
Kids are committed to the opportunity of success more than they are beholden to a certain school. When a school looks good they get recruits piling up until they can't play em all. Then some have to leave. Or they are forced to sit and prove their 'loyalty' for an opportunity that may never come. It's too easy to leave now so there will be some leaving going on. We've added several "leavers" ourselves. Our grass has look greener to some kids out there. And it certainly has turned out to be just that for several transfers.makes one question in this day and age whether a recruit is ever truly committed to any school
Wish he would've stayed, would've been nice to have Nico have a year to learn. Oh well!
Gbo!
Appears that Nico has already jumped him on the depth chart. Or the talent gap between Nico and Jackson was that obvious l, and Jackson made a business decision. Best of luck to the kid and looks like Nico may be more ready than we might had thought coming in. QB position I believe is in good hands for next 3-4 years at least with Milton and Nico leading the way.
Why do you hope that? I hope the offense was as good or better while being balancedWe have potentially 3 of the top 10-12 RBs in the league next year and a first time playcaller. Im hoping we run it 50 times a game and judiciously use play action to set up easy throws for Milton/ and keep him healthy.
