After playing
Alabama
LSU
GEORGIA
I think that could’ve been the case. That was a rough stretch. We played hard in all of those games. We could’ve been tired and just off at Georgia, feeling wore out? That wasn’t us at all. We were off a lot. No excuses, but a team playing this kind of stretch can be tiresome by the time we got to Georgia. Your thoughts on how tired we were?

UGA was just better....And UGA has been in the big moment several times lately....as in the SECCG...playoffs....NC games....and we haven't come close to that. UGA knew how to handle it and we were star struck. It showed in our play....We weren't tired but UGA made us look tired.

Just got to recruit and get better and get in the moment more often.

They weren’t tired. They got frustrated early with their pre-snap penalties and got behind the chains and off their rhythm. The first ones were likely a bit nerves and noise induced but afterwards it seemed like they got into their own heads to much.

With that noise level and knowing the defensive pressure coming you don’t want to make mental mistakes but the more you strain to not make them, the more you do it. It can mentally snowball out of control on you real quick and you’ll feed your own demon.

Wow. Lotsa uga love in here. We lost. They won. We have a very tough schedule, and we are 8-1.

Not sure why some see a need to love on them. Trust me, their fans have nothing but contempt for us.

Not so much tired as came out 'flat' or 'tight'...seemed like in that first Offensive series the men were not playing loose and fast as they have all year.
They came out in similar fashion against Pitt and were able to rebound against a lesser team - not able to do that against the talent levels of GA.

The better team won the game that day.....Our guys gave it their max effort, but for many reasons, we were outgunned and just couldn't get it going.

If we play them again, Kirby will change up his defense some, because we will prepare for what they did...He is a good coach...

Our team will be better for the whipping they endured....We learn by our mistakes, and there was a lot to learn from that game...

Did we bus or fly to game?

Normally, we fly. For some reason, thinking we bused this time.

If so.....don't do that again. Fly to Athens. Bus to Nashville.
I assume the team took buses because I saw 6-7 Premier charters (based in Knoxville) outside of the stadium near our locker room. If I remember correctly, we used to bus to Vandy and Kentucky but flew everywhere else, but there’s new leadership now so things could have changed. Regardless, I don’t think busing or flying in on Friday made much difference in this game.

They sure did look off though. To me, they looked tired, and just out of it. They could’ve been tired mentally and physically though.
They did look off. I think this could be a blessing in disguise though. That is if a few other teams can do their part to win/lose so we have a spot open.

Hooker didn't have time to set up.
Most of his passes were high.
It happens.

We shall see we will have plenty rest from last game till semi final December 31st either in Glendale Az or Atlanta. I do feel the crowd-the moment & the8 pre-snap penalties just setup everything to go bad HH timing-sacks-overthrows. It was a great game plan by UGA team & fans they got to this young team in terms of playing on a national scale in enemy stomping ground.

Heup hit the nail on the head in his postgame press conf. We weren't emotionally ready and it showed. We looked tired, scared, shocked, awed, and got blasted for an enitre half before we woke up. By then, everything that we had ever tried to do was gone, in a flash.

The rest of the game we spent trying to figure out how to do the most basic things, like read coverage, adjust plays during the noise, snap the ball, and block. The D actually played better than the O iyam. At least it didn't take them as long to show back up after halftime.

Vols looked tired because Georgia made them look that way. They were the first defense to go man-to-man most of the game and challenge us. That limited our options with the run. We just didn't have the personnel to match up, and I'm not sure that would change in a Playoff replay. That Ringo corner is legit fast. I don't know why we didn't target Hyatt more as he was matched up on the less experienced Lassiter.

What Hooker saw when he looked downfield was a swarm of red jerseys in coverage with the LB's dropping to support. Having to go through his progressions is something that I'm not sure he's super strong at. And when he has to take more time to release, the defense has more time to get to him. That's why we gave up 6 or 7 sacks.

I'm giving the team deserved credit but believe me I despise GA fans. I know exactly what your saying.
