I understand that they have quality wins but when you look at over all picture do the bad losses out weigh the quality wins?

If we manged to flop and lose out. I wouldn't pick us..we would be 17-15. We would have been like 2-9 our last 11 games

Most people have considered us a lock already from RPI and SOS. I get that but the only good thing is there are a lot of bad teams this year.

Unmatched compared to the rest of the SEC. However, there are quite a few other programs that have large contingents of fans that travel: UNC, KU, and Louisville come to mind immediately.

Seeing that the Final Four is in San Antonio, I would dread having to face either KU or Texas in the Final Four, if I were a UK fan.

uuummmm.....UK has BY FAR the largest traveling fan base in America. I doubt there is even a close second. No, UNC, Dude lou ect.......do NOT travel anywhere NEAR the numbers UK does. I have no clue what you are talking about.

Awesome. What an incredible group of fans UK must have. Hell, I bet nobody wants to play wit those guys in tow.

That's a nice bubble you live in. I also don't recall mentioning Duke.

Lexington is not the epicenter of the college basketball universe. Wake up and realize that the last time there was an epicenter of college basketball was when Wooden was on patrol in Pasadena.

Yes, other programs travel as well as UK. Then, take into account that the Final Four will take place in the state of Texas and that the Alamodome looked like a home-court for KU the last time the Final Four was in Texas, and realistically consider the possibility that UK's fans just might be outnumbered if UK makes the Final Four.

Just correcting him. What he said is false, and I assume you know it. UNC can barely sell out home games. Hell, usually they can't. Louisville even being compared to Kentucky in terms of fans is probably the most ridiculous thing i've read yet on this board. Duke has band wagon white boy fans that have never even been to a Duke game. Give me a break.

Are all of Kentucky's fans non-Caucasians? Interesting. If this is true, then you are correct, and I know absolutely nothing about UK's fan base.

Sorry, I thought I read Duke. Anyway, you're wrong. Yes, Kansas does travel, but not like UK. Also, UK was just regarded as being the nations top basketball city. Also, find me one analyst to say UK does not have the best traveling fan base in America. Not only that but the biggest PERIOD.

No, other teams do NOT travel like UK does, and it's not something that can even really be debated.

Look homes you are the one comparing UK fanbase and louisville's fan base. Hilarious.

Yea, you really know you're stuff.

Here's a thought. Who here gives two craps about UK's fans?

It's hard for me to contain the pride I get out of being a part of a fanbase. Its unbelievable. I'm considering posting stupid stuff on a regular basis.

I made a statement about why UT and UK would be 2 of the most dangerous teams in the tournament. Because of UT being so night and day, and UK being nearly perfect on neutral courts and home games, it was valid. Our neutral court games play a lot like home games.

I was then called out by one of your boys and was told louisville's fan base travels just as much. Also said UNC and they can't even sell out home games. So, I guess if you could inform your buddies better on the way this works I wouldn't have to say anything.:eek:k:

I did not realize that UK was a city. Once again, my point has been thoroughly defeated.

Nice try. But Everyone here knows what Lexington is. I love the deflection by you. Why don't you just keep showing everyone how smart you are and compare Martins fan base to yours?

I already said what I needed to say. UK's traveling fan base is consistent with those of KU, UNC, and Louisville, and others. I state this on experience I have had in going to NCAA Tournament games in which these teams have played.

Feel free to get pissed off and get your panties in a bunch. The bottom line is that, in my opinion and from my personal experience, if UK and KU make it to the Final Four, UK will be playing in front of a hostile crowd.

Clearly UKs fanbase is highly selective and wins truckloads of games by intimidating opposing fanbases. Hard to pick the elite fanbases in America, but the best one is beyond question. Wish I could be part.

Then your experience has been clouded by hatred for UK. I don't care if they held it in Switzerland, UK would have the biggest showing. I am dont debating this with you, because it is simply not debatable. You have shown you LACK of knowledge on this topic by just comparing the UK and UOFL fan base. You do realize hlaf of the people in louisville are UK fans, right? You are aware we out number them probably 20 to 1 in the state. It's not like UT and Memphis where the state in split. It's all blue up there buddy.

You just keep thinking whatever you want. UK is KNOWN for the biggest and best traveling fan base in America. PERIOD.

would it be so hard to say in all the years you have watched, UK has the biggest basketball following out there?
