Teams you would want and not want to play in the tournament

So dyslexia caused you to replace the I with the E, but put it in the right place? Amazingly enough, you used a homonym of the word you intended. Dyslexia never sounded so good.

Struggled with my words and speech from a very early age. was able to overcome it and graduate with honors.

What exactly are you trying to prove. That I didn't?

Ooh, with honors. That must be how they let you be one of the few chosen to be UK fans. How does one get to be considered for inclusion into the allsomest fanbase in the history of fanbases. Again, your boundless pride, while a joke to millions, makes perfect sense to me.

I have dyslexia, Or had.

My son has it too.

Very smart guy you are.

From your posts, I would say that "dyslexia" falls far down the list of your mental deficiencies. Page 4 or so.

Your son's will likely be a few pages beyond even that, if he inherited your critical thinking "skillzz" or spelling acumen.

Of course, that's presuming you are his father, which is a large theoretical jump to make, considering that the Kentucky DNA pool is little more than a genetic Shamwow, awash in a whirlpool of Trans Am grease, self-loathing, shame and ignorance. The veritable labyrinth of overlapping and similiar strands could easily lose any scientist in the unravelling required to properly interpret the Kentuckian anomalies which often occur (i.e. aunt/mother/cousin/sister quad combos).

So, in short, you seem like a dullard - and the prospects for your son are likely worse. While I appreciate that your "ignorant" mother couldn't have possibly foreseen the events which would have ensued from her decision to accompany her brothers frog-giggin' that night long ago, but I am most saddened by the fact that your existence seems to be proof positive that she was equally unaware of her right to choose. Hopefully, we'll someday break the time/space continuum and she can correct the compounding of her original mistake by setting the dial to your birthday, minus 9 months.

An honors degree from Kentucky is no more difficult to attain than flipping to the reverse of any McDonald's tray cover.

And if you have " overcome" that, please continue your process of self-improvement. As you've already nailed dyslexia and a KY honors degree, I would think that the next natural step would be to shoot for something harder.

With hard work and dedication, you could eventually rise to being a standby for Corky on re-tapes.

Dare to dream. Dare to dream.

Had dyslexia? Did you beat autism, too?

I also find your rant about racism ironic, concerning your "white boy" comment re: Duke.

As for challenging BPV's degree, you might want to check on that. He is a West Point alum...not exactly Harvard, but certainly one of the top Tier One educations in the world.

As for facts, UK plays at least three games per season in two of the largest college basketball arenas in the country (KFC Center and TBA); KU plays in ridiculously small arenas in the Big XII North; aside from games against Maryland, UNC plays in small arenas; same with Louisville.

Yet, according to NCAA statistics, the non-home game attendance for UK games is not all that much greater than that of KU, UNC, Syracuse, and Louisville.

Baylor- Ferrell Center-10,284

Colorado- Coors Event Center-11,064

Iowa State- Hilton Coliseum-14,057

Kansas- Allen Fieldhouse- 16,300

Kansas State- Bramlage Coliseum-12,500

Missouri-Mizzou Arena-15,061

Nebraska- Bob Devaney Sports Center-13,595

Oklahoma- Lloyd Noble Center-11,528

Oklahoma State-Gallagher-Iba Arena-13,611

Texas- Frank Erwin Center- 16,755

Texas A&M- Reed Arena- 12,989

Texas Tech- United Spirit Arena- 15,020

More are listed here...hmm, a lot of SEC Arenas, only 1 ACC arena. Interesting.
List of basketball arenas by capacity - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And, with all this, here are the some away attendance numbers, by teams, last season:
UK: 290,000
UNC: 260,000 (but...of course they can't travel well, huh?)
KU: 250,496
Louisville: 228,203

*Note: this is total attendance at arenas - not just UK fans, KU fans, etc.

As to harboring any hatred of UK...that is news to me. I am pretty indifferent to Kentucky.

Then don't dog a UT diploma on a UT website, especially if you struggle with words and went to Murray.

MURRAY?!?! A Kentucky fan - with a Murray degree no less - talking some smack?!?! Here!?!? This could go on for days, weeks even, without the first mention of either the 26 (or 27?) winning streak or Rupp's pedophilia.

Christmas has truly come early, and God bless us - God bless us, everyone!

haha......love the racist back slap. I won't comment on it except to say that I have lived in tennessee my whole life but have lots of family in Kentucky. And Tennessee is a hell of a lot more racist than Kentucky.

26 years in Knox, 5 in Louisville, 1 in Lexington...and I haven't seen a difference. Pretty sure it is impossible to make a staement like that. I can attest to UK's fanbase though. Deal with it daily. Haha

Let us play a one seed and end this misery of a season. Of course, don't think it will take that to end it. Sorry, in a bit of a negative mood about this team. Been a long season after last year.

Despite what people say, I wouldn't want to play Tennessee in the tournament.

I wouldn't either, then you have to hear the announcers ramble on and on about what Bruce Pearl did and didn't do rather than actually talk about how either team is playing or strategy. :p

I could agree with that thought. How do you prepare for a team that themselves don't know what they're going to do or when they might go off.

I think they can make a run, that is what has been so frustrating. They are capable of almost anything. Pearl's teams thrive on being doubted (thx to volnation according to coaches), so a 9 seed may just get them clicking. Who knows

I'd really love to see us play Duke. I'd hate to play Texas or Ohio State. When the brackets are announced, I bet whatever region were in will be labeled as the toughest.

I am with you, I have always wanted to play Duke. Had a shot in the 99 tourney but lost to SW MIssouri State before getting the chance, I think(but UT didn't have bball until 2005 according to some). I do think that UT doesn't play smart enough bball to beat Duke, but would love to see

Eh Coach K would eat us alive but I'd still like to see it. Maybe if the refs let them play real physical, I think we'd scare the Dukies but.....99% sure they'd stomp us in the ground ha
