FYP huh. What are you, 8 maybe 9 years old?
yes I'm 9 and that should absolutely embarrass you, being an old turd on a rival board and being regularly bested by one in the single digits.

By the way, nice senseless argument that the only people qualified to determine the appropriateness of football personnel moves are those in GM offices. I'd figure with all of the stat crutches you need, you would damn well know that the number of poor moves is astonishingly high.

Goofy argument. There is a reason the NFL doesn't use these VolNation message board experts instead of paying good money for GM's and scouts and there is a reason Morgan Stanley Smith Barney isn't managed by someone who is a "good stock picker".
uh, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney doesn't exist, but you looked like you knew what you were talking about for a second. Well, no you didn't, but you get the point.

why? there are plenty of people who play golf well who aren't professionals or pick stocks etc etc etc.
don't be ridiculous. There is so much room in the NFL talent evaluation business that it makes sense for hordes of fully qualified people to lay that out as a career path. Hence, those not in that business surely must not have been capable.

I'm the one saying that unless you are an NFL GM or scout you just don't know. Is it really that hard to understand?
This isn't at all hard to understand. It is very hard to understand someone being senseless enough to try and pass it off as correct.

I don't claim to be an NFL GM. I'm not the one who is saying "Tebow will not be an NFL QB".

I'm the one saying that unless you are an NFL GM or scout you just don't know. Is it really that hard to understand?

1.) He qualified his statement by saying "if" he was a GM.
2.) You basically informed him he was incorrect by stating this is why he only posts on a messageboard. If there was some other connotation, enlighten me.
3.) You are also not an NFL GM.
4.) Thus, you are not qualified to tell the other poster why he is not an NFL GM either.

I don't think logic's been discovered in Florida yet.

smith barney is 51% owned by morgan stanley and 49% owned by citibank so the employees of morgan stanley have one CEO and the employees of smith barney have 2. so you were wrong.

But they did start using the name again. Had gone away from it for more Dean Witter, which was stupid.

They should rearing the two separate brands. Both have different strengths and are horses in the business.

the smith barney name will be gone in 5 years. that is the way these things work. the acquired rarely keep their name. even if it's a good one. which is why solomon got dropped from smith barney years ago.

And it's stupid. Solomon was the Corp fin shop. Smith Barney the brokerage. Now they've diluted the whole mess.

You think a team would trade a 7th round pick for a bench player making 10 million a year?

As for him outrunning defenders... he really doesn't in the NFL. One overtime run against the Texan's with everyone blitzing and a 4th down run against the Giants after someone let him go doesn't really qualify as consistently outrunning defenders. He actually ran 10 more times in his second season and his average dropped by 2.5ypa. He averaged 4.2ypa. Those numbers are good for a runningback but if you're a scrambling quarterback, you need to be picking up more than 4.2 a carry when you run the ball 90+ times. That's not worth risking your quarterback to an injury in my opinion. I'd rather have one who throws 90 more times at 7yds per attempt.
