Uh Oh..........Trouble brewing for Meyers and the magical, unstoppable, vaunted spread offense!!!!

I hope Tebow throws 5 interceptions a game this year!!

The Gators are surely sinkable.

UT is already halfway to the bottom.

Correct on the first point, there is no where for the gators to go but down, and down you will go.

On the second, Tennessee's stock is rising. Discipline is back (how are things going in Gainesville on that front?) and out talented incoming class will have an immediate impact.

As much as I would love to think that Tebow all of a sudden developed the awkwardness and athleticism of a 12 year old boy, I think people are overreacting. We are talking about the first few days of practice here. It's a long way away before the season, let alone the UT-UF game.

He may not be Chuck Norris, but there is no way he comes out and is just awful for our game down there. We simply aren't that lucky. When we play them, we are going to have to play a good to great team. I would prefer it that way anyway.

Someone is touchy today.

No, no. Just calling it like I see it.

You can't tell me that you aren't concerned that UT may be getting pretty stale, as a program. Look at FSU. They've really gone backwards for the last few years. They've taken similar steps to UT in terms of replacing assistant coaches. But Bowden is close to 80. And not going anywhere any time soon.

To call their fanbase optimistic but pretty restless is understatement of the year. I see UT in the same boat (to continue the Titanic analogy).

It has nothing to do with his athleticism. He is one of the most athletic FB/QBs in the country. It has everything to do with he might not be able to read even simple coverages and make correct decisions.

Uh oh....maybe Timmy just isn't the savior Florida fans have made him out to be...and from the vindictive tone of laws response it seems that some of them may be realizing that

Agree 100%

According to many Gator fans he would make Chuck cry.

He may not be Chuck Norris

I agree LG. We are taking on water. But think this is more playfull poking at Tebow. Or least in my case it is.

I am absolutely confident that Tebow, barring injury, will deliver as promised. He's a winner, pure and simple. Combine that with his talent, he is going to produce W's for the Gators.

The defense is the question mark. I know we have talent, but folks on here have convinced me that there is just see no way to know how they will perform and it seems extremely unlikely, if not outright impossible, that they will be nearly as proficient as last year's defense.

I expect the Gators to score a lot more than last year, and to give up more points than last year, hopefully keeping the balance tilted in our favor as last year. No matter how slightly.
