Tebow sucking it up in practice?

He did not impress me at all with his arm, he will be very good with Urban's system, but not in the NFL.

I bet you saw all of maybe 8 throws he made. 8 passes is not nearly close enough to a good sample size for you to say that. His laser against LSU (not the jump pass) was a beauty, but there were only 3 DBs, I think, on the field.

I think that Tebow may be the passer his year and Cam Newton will be the runner or Brantlet could be the passer with a ombo of Tebow/Cam as a runner. I bet it feels good to have that many options.

Why would you do that when Meyer recruited Tebow to do both in his system?

because it worked last year and why did Urban recruit a 5 and 4 star QB to ride the pine for the next 3 years?

I think he'll be good. I think if people end up calling him a system QB, they could be right. I'm not sure about his NFL future because hasn't had to make NFL quality throws yet. I think in 2008 he'll be solid, but 2009 really good within the system.

Tks

Maybe because Tebow was the only QB left on scholly and when you have a qb that takes as many hits as he will it would be nice to have some insurance:crazy:

IMO Tebow isn't their biggest problem. Its losing 11 of their top 13 tacklers.

This is a major rebuilding year on defense for Florida with a new QB on offense. Lawgator and company are too optimistic.

I agree. How will Tebow and the offense handle the pressure of possibly having to put up a ton of points? It blows my mind how confident lawgator1 is in a QB that hasn't proved anything other than the ability to convert a 3rd and 4 on a draw play. His blatant irrationality concerning his own team is only bested by his constant downplaying of UT's chances this season, a team with fewer question marks than his own.

I'm glad the Big Orange isn't pinning their hopes on a soph qb like Tebag with limited playing time and ranked in the top five. It's a long fall from great heights...
