Tebow: "Talent never won anything. Hard work does."

If hard work trumps talent, why does the average recruiting budget have two commas in it?

Just pointing out the absurdity of Saint Timothy's ridiculous comment.

Anyone pretending that Tebow I'd anything above middlin' for brains is even worse off than Tebow or LG.

2007 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American football team.

2008 Southeastern Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

3.81 GPA, and never, ever uses terms like "middlin."

Does not change the fact that his statement is absolutely moronic.

3.81 for a star player at a craphole school us hardly anything to shout about. He sounds like an utter retard in interviews even though schooled.

The next time you use GPA as a proxy for intelligence, I'll assume you're as stupid as he.

The "craphole " school you speak of is ranked as the 17th best public University in the country and #1 in the SEC.

Best Colleges - Education - US News and World Report

I don't think I should take your word on what constitutes a scholar.

....and again, you regale me with tales about virtue among thieves. Stop wasting your air. After about 5 prestigious public state schools, they're all the same, with some boasting solid individual programs.

Is Eric going to hand Timmy a cloth to polish his trophies? :eek:lol:

Dont worry, once EB gets himself an Albert Haynesworthesque contract in the NFL, he will hire Tebow as a live tackling dummy

I think I will go with US News and World report along with these sources:

* No. 6, The Center “Top Public Research Universities”
* No. 8, The Scientist magazine “Best Places to Work in Academia”
* No. 2, Kiplinger’s “Best Values in Public Colleges” (2008)
* No. 5 fifth among all universities in Kiplinger's magazine "Top 100 Public Colleges"

instead of some cat named BigPapaVol whose motto is "Wave yo hands in the aiya".

You know Jack about the politics of the university rankings BS. If the acceptance rates are accurate for the hole, it ain't any better than all the others. Deal with it.

You post those things as if they have the first bit of relevance. Being the best public school in the SEC is like winning a trailer park beauty contest. Anyone pretending any SEC school, save Vanderbilt to a small extent, has anything to brag about academically is an imbecile.

I said it about 3 different ways and he didn't miss a beat with stupid rankings.

You'd think stupidity ranking UF as a top 5 public university would help him understand the wothlessness of the info, however comma...

Tebow is arguably the most popular male in the state of FL. Tebow is a virgin.

That right there tells you that he is not very bright.

You arrived to class a bit late, you I will give you a free pass for not having any clue regarding the relevance of my posts. Butt since you decided to add your two cents worth allow me to school you.

UF is ranked 49th among all universities, which includes public and private. Any idea that SEC schools are subpar when it comes to academics is imbecilic.
