Here in Cincinnati one suburb's police force is asking homeowners/business owners with outdoor camera's to register in a "catalogue" for them. Supposedly, you do not have to turn over anything recorded if they approach you if a crime was committed........somehow the "option" seems like it will be an issue at some point if someone doesn't hand recording over IMO.

I’m sure police departments are already getting access without crimes taking place and without the homeowners knowledge, similar to the access they get to Facebook accounts that people aren’t aware of.
