I love the "Ted Kennedy, Champion of Civil Rights", label they have hung on him.

Remember forced bussing (it happened to me)?

Remember the one major city in America that reacted with unparalleled violence? Boston, MA. Not once did you see 'Whiskey Bottle Ted' on TV to denounce the violence. He never said one word. He did NOTHING

Civil rights were one of Ted's favorite causes.....as long as it wasn't in his town. Damned old drunken hypocrite.

I'm not dancing in the street. I wouldn't waste the energy on that drunken SOB. I just feel no sorrow or sympathy.

Kennedy never showed an ounce of remorse for leaving Mary Jo to drown. He deserves no compassion.

Ya I'm sorry for his kids and grand kids for losing their father and grand father, and I would wish Brain Cancer on no one. However, the dude was a colossal slimeball, and is a prime example of why we so desperately need term limits. He's been a Senator for nearly 5 decades, which is too long for anybody. His last move of trying to reverse the law he pushed to take away a Republican's ability to replace Kerry if needed to put it back into his Democrat buddy's hand is truly a reminder of his legacy.

Politics aside, my father-in-law died of brain cancer 4 years ago. It is horrible to watch.
