Wait.....I thought everyone hated Tee now for spurning us for USC?

Love him for being the qb on our natl champ team and the great things he did then. What he's said and done the last few years with regards to our program?........ Not so much.

Who cares. Mediocre QB in college to a mediocre college as a HC? Have fun Tee.

Get over all the butthurt. Tee is a National Champ and coaching is a business. He did what was best for his family and it's his choice.

I'd be surprised if he makes such a big jump but I'm rooting for him.

Word here is they're going after the HS coach at Bishop Gorman. There's a huge stadium in the works here and Gorman produces big time players yearly. UNLV has terrible facilities and a Vandy-esque stadium

Don't need to look at the stats. I rewwatch the games at least once a year. Tee more than held his own. Watch the South Carolina game.

Cherry picking. He had more mediocre to bad games than good ones. The 98 SC game was his pinnacle.

Tee fans seem to forget the 99 season.

He needs to get out of USC and call plays somewhere, but if its true about this wife trying to pursue a career in singing he wont ever be anything more than a hired recruiting gun.

I always thought (aside from breaking NCAA rules) Trooper Taylor did himself a disservice by not going to a lower tier school as an OC, instead of trying to be handed an OC job at a top tier school.

He had some really good games and some really shaky games. Especially the first four games of '98. The 17-9 Auburn win was his worst in my opinion, and of course the USCe game was his best. Overall, good QB, but not worthy of a street being named after him, especially from only a 2-year career. If you are going to name streets for '98 you start with Al Wilson.

Tee Martin may not have been the second coming of Johnny Unitas, but to act like he had nothing to do with the NC is just dumb. It's not like we could've put Jim Bob Cooter in there and won. We probably don't beat FSU without that early deep pass to Peerless Price.

The 98 UT team embodied every sense of the word "team". When the offense was dragging the defense picked it up and when the D was dragging, the O picked it up. A true total team effort for an entire season. Imo
