I’m not. I’m just saying UT will plug gaps with the portal and not assume true freshmen will be starting in the SEC as it rarely happens.

A lot depends on how much you lose to the draft, which is likely significant. App would be starting in a lot of programs. Grindlinger of course. You hope to get a few that can contribute.

. Even in a ”down year”, UT only has one freshman everyday player and he’s currently position less as a DH. Ethan Moore was a top 100 HS recruit and the #35 best SS per PG. Moore‘s currently a 19 1/2 yo freshman who is redshirting. Top HS recruiting classes are awesome but typically don’t impact a team until years 2 and 3. They need to be developed and get some SEC reps under their belts so they can reach their potential and contribute.
