I honestly can't remember UT having a coach that took as much interest in his players as CBJ...I mean he really does care about those kids...I'd let my son play for him any day!

And that must be his secret to recruiting success...

Fuad Reveiz just said that he heard Dufus (and yes he called him that) would tell Palardy "not to fu%k it up" when he kicked. Great psychology there from a complete moron.

Yep...Fuad told me the same thing in person one day while we were in a meeting together

Someone needs to tell the ole ball coach "You can't spell Butch without UT!

NICE! :)

BTW ... being over here in SC, I turned it over to the after game USC radio channel, they thought(usc) had absolutely NO chance of losing this game. Shocked beyond believe . Its melt down city!:pepper:

These kids don't quit because they know Butch won't quit of them. They will follow him to Hell and back.

We are lucky to have Butch guys. We are Damn Lucky.

I wholeheartedly concur. Michael's comments reflect qualities that, for all practical purposes, are "officially licensed trademarks" of Butch Jones: Leadership, Inspiration and Motivation.

I heard Fuad say that as well. I had to ask myself, did Fuad just say what I thought he said? My blood boiled when I heard that. Well "doofus" is long gone (thank god) and the Vols are back no matter what happens the rest of the year. I believe we go 7-5 (very) possible 8-4. And that's what I said at the beginning of the season.

I can't believe I supported this idiot for so long. We should have known when he was constantly making fun of the players to the media..

Since his first year, Palardy's taken an absolute beating from the fan base. Granted, his inconsistency and lack of production in prior years brought that on to a certain extent, along with other confidence issues and hamstring complications plaguing his time at UT. There are few other players I can think of on this team that deserved that jubilant moment of retribution like he got tonight. Thanks for giving your all for Tennessee, Michael! :good!:

If that's true, then I truly have lost respect for CDD, as a person. I'll reserve judgment - but he was way in over his head if he was talking to his kicker that way (or any player for that matter).

what an arrogant a@#. sounds like dd. he's a total loser. no wonder guys didn't love ut. he ruined the complete experience. i bet that's why bray went off on him at the vandy game last year. he prolly was talking down to bray even though he was the sec passing leader and the main reason we were in games last year.

Butch reminds me of the head-coaches you see in the football movies in which the football players want to win it for the coach. Contrarily, Saban reminds me of the Devil who does it for himself and says f*** all about the kids.

Palardy is the MVP of team#117 so far... he has constantly flipped field position,
not many returns on kickoffs, and has made most of his FG's...

Just wish that Palardy wasn't a senior. Too bad it took until his sr year to get some coaching, but at least he will probably be kicking on Sundays next year.
