Pardon me if I misquote here, but a Yogi Berra-ism came to mind: "90 percent of this game's half mental". What CBJ has done to instill confidence in Michael Palardy & the entire Vol team is amazing.

It's hard to have confidence in yourself when you have no confidence in your coach. DD played to not lose, CBJ plays to WIN!
There is a huge difference in the two. The program is really on the upswing now, and I truly believe the recruits can sense that.
As for Palardy, what can you say? He has done a great job in all aspects of his game this year. His FG miss appeared to start to hook and then just went straight. Nice to see him line up with confidence even after that miss, which was anything but a chip-shot. I know I am excited about the future, but patience is required. I believe our patience will be rewarded, BIG TIME!

Half of you guys loving on Palardy were hating on him last couple of years. Granted he had some tough times but all you wanted to do was get on an anonymous post and rip him. Good to see what happens when folks like Butch stay positive with a player.

It's obvious that Palardy has taken huge strides since last season. I don't think it's coincidence. He's finally looking like the top prospect he was our of HS. Proud of him!

CBJ and staff continue to impress fans, players and recruits. I hope he loves being here as much as he claims because we may have our coach for the next 20 years.
