Ten Gators leaving school early?

RB's Chris Rainey and Moody would be completely stupid to go to the league right now. They haven't done nothing yet at UF. I would think Jeffrey Demps would get drafted before them two.

I don't think that is the case at all. I think everyone's point on here is that Brantley doesn't fit Urban's system and without have a fullback at the QB position his offense will struggle.

Urban fits his system to the players at his disposal.

Leak and Tebow were polar opposite QBs, yet Meyer had success with both.

Brantley is a better pure passer than Leak or Tebow. UF's offense next season will look nothing like this past season.

while that's not really saying a lot, you have nothing to base that on but practice, spring games and mop up duty. Playing real football is a different story

Again, what I've seen from Brantley I'll gladly take my chances with him over Stephens in '10 and Bray in '11.

and I'd take Crompton over all of them (which was more my point than Stephens). While he had struggles he showed he could get it done against the best in the country.

No he didn't. The offense in 06 was awful, even loaded with talent. The defense won that title.

Tough to compare.

Crompton's struggles with consistency pretty much near legendary status at this point.

Brantley hasn't been put into a position where his performance really matters.

My suspicion is that you will see him a bit in the Sugar Bowl. Maybe surprisingly early.

Brantley might be the best pocket passer we've ever saw. I could care less because on 3rd and 4 no one is going to give a damn about his legs. Teams will scheme him differently and Meyer is going to have to adjust his offense to fit this guy. I'm just glad Tebag won't be getting his patent 3rd and 4 anymore. Tough sledding ahead boys, enjoy.

Think your really dead on about this statement. Receivers were non existent with the BEST QB EVER...

definitely expected a mass exodus after the run the've had and will be curious to see who comes back..especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Actually, Crompton was consistently bad up until the The 4th quarter of the Auburn game, and he has been consistent the rest of the season.
