TENN vs. UCONN

UConn had a 50 rpt. 50 point lede last night barely into the second half. You could play 5 grandmothers and have trouble building a 50 point lead in a half--and this was against a (supposed) 8 seed--temple. There still isn't much parity in women's basketball if an 8 seed can't stay*within 50 points of its opponents in 22 minutes!

I think this Vol team has certainly closed what was probably a very large gap between it and the huskies. I think our size could cause them problems--but ultimately I don't UT is athletic enough to stay with UConn. We've got a very big team and a very good team, but not sure we've got enough quickness. Cain, Stricklin and Manning would have to play very well. I hope we get that far, and think we will.

So do I because that is where all the questions will be answered. I don't see any team keeping us from uconn, but, it is tournament and upset time of the year. I'm anxious. I felt sorry for Temple last night. They never had a chance. On a good shooting night, I think they still get beat by 30+. They don't have the potential to put up anywhere near the number of points uconn can.
