Was it Auburn that raised a stink about King's academic eligibility forcing him to sit out a key game costing us a title?

I'm not sure. Auburn was good during those years too. If that happened, it lasted one game

Don't remember it being for more than one game, but the game he missed was one we lost and it cost us the league title if memory serves. Maybe it was Kentucky that raised the issue and Auburn was the next game? Just remember being really pissed at Auburn.

Don't think so. There was concern about his eligibility. Something to do with academics. I'm almost positive.

I was thinking of how many great players Tennessee had if you had to do an all time Tennessee team who would you pick for me it would be Ziegler at point, Chris loftin at sg, dalton knecht at the sf, pf would be admirol scholfield, and my center is duke crews

A little light on big guys and defenders.

Edit: Not light on them but a couple I would try get on my all-time team are Pons on and possibly Kyle Alexander...he was very productive as an upperclassmen.

The only player I forgot about during the time frame I picked my team would've been Josh Richar

I only saw Jackson play and the others played at Tennessee before I moved here in 1969 from Georgia.
