I'm usually really positive about this baseball team....but this is the same crap that has happened year after year with Serrano. He has had plenty of time to get things turned around. I just don't see this team going anywhere under Serrano. Yes..I know it's still early in the season but this stuff looks all to familiar. I hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling I'm not. Will be fighting for the last spot in the SEC tournament once again this year.

I know we played well in the non-conference schedule but when SEC play started I was afraid of this happening. Losing series after series. Let's hope the momentum can change into our favor in the coming SEC weekend series ahead. BTW, the 2nd game of the doubleheader is still going to be on TV tonight at 9 PM EST on SEC Network right?

When Did Lipinski come in? I am on my phone and game tracker was showing Cox in there in the 7th, but the stat line shows he pitched 5 innings and Lipinski 1.1.

Yeah, I got fooled by that, too. I wrote a rant on why Cox was being left in so long--only to realize he had been gone for a while.

My channel guide shows it is, but they may change their mind after this game.

I thought we could fare ok with Bama. But unfortunately, the series against Mizzou, Georgia, Auburn, and UK will all be key. We just can't compete with the top programs in the SEC. I think we probably have to win 3 of those series.
