Should have taken him out when he threw the ball out into centerfield on the pick off. Behind on every batter, it was obvious the guy was either scared or didn't have any feel on his pitches. It's those kind of decisions on pitching that are killing this program.
I have followed most of the year but haven't watched much. But at some point, guys have to learn how to get out of trouble. You can't pull all of your pitchers when they get in trouble, especially in a day where you are playing two games. The one thing that I see that is troubling is giving up so many walks. I didn't play at a high level, but that's not a coaching problem to me. Sometimes, guys just don't have it on a certain day, but you can't walk guys against good teams.
