I honestly think we played worse tonight than in those games. Maybe not Charleston

I concur..this is horrible, we have lacked focus and intensity which usually helps us win big games. We are going to be a bubble unless we can pull off a winning streak or win SEC. The main thing is the lineups have screwed us. We put in all defensive players and we can't make baskets period. Our starting five is so inconsistent. GBO!! Good night! V,B

While that is probably true. The freshmen didnt do alot after Lamb cooled off. That Bum Harrelson and ungifted Liggins did the damage. that is an insult to injury.

The effort in the paint was missing somewhat.

Kentucky is #18 in the country, not #1. They aren't that good of a team, yet we made them look like the Lakers.

Liggins is gifted, just doesn't focus on scoring. He was mentally crushed by Billy Clyde, but has recovered to become a very valuable player. We'd love to have him.

I'm not saying we are as good as UK. We're not. That's obvious. I'm saying pure talent and recruiting wise, we are right where they are, we just aren't translating it into good basketball on the court.

um... no. when you have 2 d2 guys coming off the bench... you aren't not equal in talent. after harris/jones and hopson/knight... the talent level is all in UK's favor.

You're completely, 100% missing the point.

Also, I forgot Maymon, another 4 star top 50 player who doesn't see the court.

We have the same level of talent as them, just ours, for whatever reason never seems to translate into good consistent play on the court. Hell, our guys don't even see the floor and their freshmen come in immediately and contribute. Makes me wonder a bit at this coaching staff's ability to develop players.

Yes we do. Hopson and Harris are both 5 star top 5 Mc Donalds All Americans (just like Jones and Knight). We have Hall, McRae, Golden, Woolridge, Tatum, who are all top 100 4 star players. We are on paper one of the most talented teams in the country. We just have no idea how to play the game.

Ok...Woolridge sucks and never plays. Hall is a lost puppy when he plays the last two mins of blow outs. Golden is a freshmen and you can't expect much out of him and McRae has already gotten suspended. Hopson is the most overrated 5 star ever. Harris will not go pro till after next year. He is not ready. Pearl has done a poor job of recuriting.
