Tennessee baseball wins SEC East

The city has ceded most of the campus roads to UTK and they have closed or changed many of those roads.

I bet the biggest concern for Todd Helton Dr is traffic patterns for large events. Dozens of buses park on street for football for instance and not sure where the would go if not available.

I believe the gravel lot behind cf is actually owned by RR but they allow school to use. May not be able to close due to right-of-way issues

If they could make a deal with CSX to straighten THDrive through that gravel lot it would allow stands beyond the RF fence. But, try dealing with a railroad. They're tough. And, just because they may be private roads doesn't mean the police and fire and rescue don't still have a veto over closure, I'm betting.

GBO !!!!!!!!!!! No.2 seed. Let's make some noise at Hoover. First 2 things Tennessee needs to do is give Coach V a raise and get started on the LNS upgrade blueprints.

Congratulations BaseVols on WINNING the SEC East! Thank You, we are grateful!

PS: It’s time to kick it into High Gear and Give Your All on every play!

Political influence could solve that fairly easily with service providers. Railroad, not so much.

New Smokies stadium takes care of upgrade. Just my opinion but it's going to be awesome.
Only if it is built on the World's Fair site. You can tear down that under used convention center to make room for ballpark and great dining area. That would make a great back drop for a stadium and parking is not that far away. It is also on the corner of the UT campus opposite of the Hill.

It pisses me off the all BS renovations at Neyland that take seats out and make it less scary, even more so when we could put that money to good use and build a nice baseball stadium

Site clearance has already begun weeks ago. Just up from Barley's.

I thought over a decade ago that Cherokee Farm off Alcoa Hwy would be cool.

Alas. The homeowners across the river freaked out when there was talk of intramural fields and other student facilities spoiling their views

Well, those intramural fields went to West Knoxville off Sutherland.

Puttiing a stadium in that part of town is putting lipstick on a pig. Not for me. I like going where the Smokies are now. No to an off campus field for the Vols.
