Tennessee drawing Purdue was wrong

Bama and UNC were both on the selection committee. That's how they got the West and we got the shaft.

Seeding, location and officials are the most important things when it comes to the tournament.
As far as Alabama is concerned, 2024 Tennessee vs Alabama, TN 2-0. Enough said.

Do fanbases really brag about making a final 4? I mean I get at the time it's a nice accomplishment, but who is going to remember that by the start of the next tournament? It means nothing.

Do fanbases really brag about making a final 4? I mean I get at the time it's a nice accomplishment, but who is going to remember that by the start of the next tournament? It means nothing.

Nobody cares that UNC has the most Final Fours? Or that UCLA, Duke, KY, and KU are 2-5?

I guess I'm just wired different. To me it means nothing unless you win. Getting to Omaha and losing means nothing in baseball. Making the CFB playoff means nothing if lose. No one is going to remember that in a year or 2. People only remember championships.

Then why have you ever watched a single Vols basketball game? You are waiting for Finals since nothing else matters. Why have you ever watched a single Vols baseball game? Tomorrow will be your first game! Unless you take yourself seriously enough to wait until game 2 to start watching, since game 1 also "means nothing" without a second win. I take it that you have only seen one Vols football game in your entire life.

And yet, how many posts have you made about things that "mean nothing"? And that you wouldn't remember (as you claim) even if you had watched, since they weren't championship games. 18,000+

Just thought Purdue issue was a thing of past. New recruits and new season in November. Yes you can talk bball til the ducks come home. Just figured that topic had been analyzed ad nauseum since Edey and team won. But we can keep on keepin' on...

This is right up there for the most bizarre thing ever said on this board. Final Fours are a big deal. That’s why schools hang banners for them.

It would be the best accomplishment in the history of our basketball program. It would mean a lot to me and most everyone else on this board to make a F4.

Obviously you haven't been around here long. It's just an opinion. A final 4 means nothing if you don't seal the deal.
