I guess I'm just wired different. To me it means nothing unless you win. Getting to Omaha and losing means nothing in baseball. Making the CFB playoff means nothing if lose. No one is going to remember that in a year or 2. People only remember championships.
With all due respect....

It's more about you feeling entitled as a fan who never played anything close to that level. If you call that wiring, so be it but I guarantee you that it means something to athletes and coaches who have accomplished such things

I agree. A natty is the ultimate goal, and it's great when that happens in any sport. Look at the baseball team last night. However, college basketball is a totally different animal. While I'm sure it doesn't mean as much to Bama fans as football success, I'm sure they're more than happy with the Final 4 banner.

Getting there means a lot regarding the Final 4. I believe they will get there within 5 years. They're competing with and beating bluebloods as it is.

Leave the natty or bust talk to the Kentuckys,UConns,Carolinas and Dukes of the world.

Regarding the topic at hand,Sometimes you get a bad draw. It's about making the best of your opportunity. Tennessee had to do that in baseball.

Patience is key.

Played them twice and Rick still couldn’t figure it out.
He figured out how to get our team as far as it has ever been and figured out how to reconstruct our roster quite impressively in the offseason. Don’t strain anything trying to contort yourself to slamming Barnes after this historic run for our program.
