My only hope is this is slight of hand information to keep it on the down low. Rumors swirled about Helton leaving before being squashed on Saturday night/Sunday morning, yet here we are. And clearly Helton was checked out for the past two weeks knowing he was outta here.

But I agree, the Tennessee thing to do is promote inexperienced Friend and hire on lucky seat number TT, row 13, seat 6 as the new offensive line coach.
