IMO, the squib kick against UGA in 2001.They only had to drive half the distance to win the game.Lose by 2. :banghead:

Anytime we ran 7 screens in one game.

Rolling Ainge left to have him throw right. Having Rick Clausen roll right to throw left.

The all time worse coaching snafu was in 1999 against Florida when we did not put a TE or H-back on Alex Brown and help out that poor offensive tackle, especially after Tee had been clobbered 3 or 4 times. We had a better team than Florida that year. Sanders should have been fired on the spot!! :realmad: :realmad:

Any defensive play where Jason Julian or David Bennett were on the field.

You left out CPF's son in law, Robert Peace.

How did that have anything to do with . . . . nevermind.

If I remember correctly (it may just be my imagination) the coaches were calling for a spike on the play to set up another. I think that whole play was improvised in the huddle.

I would have to go with the fumble crisis we had against Florida in 2002.

And who can forget Ainge out of his own endzone against LSU last year.

4th and 2 against Florida in 1999 and 2000 late in the fourth quarter. We ran a sweep both times, both times stuffed and both times we went on to lose a close game.

You'd think in 2000 we would have remembered the prior year and maybe ran something different. Maybe we figured Henry would have a better chance than Jamal.

I seem to remember that on the 4th down play Jamal Lewis decided to turn it inside rather than taking it around the corner where there appeared to be open field.

That would speak volumes about the intelligence, or lack thereof, of our coaching staff. Thinking Travis Henry is better than Jamal Lewis is like preferring Scrapple to Prime Rib.

That 4th down sweep in 99 against Fl. that was UT's last possesion and everyone in the stadium knew the game was over if UT didnt get a first down.

I was expecting to see a fake handoff with Tee Martin on a naked bootleg with the option to throw to a tight end if he couldnt make a first down running.

It was just pathetic. You had so many options with a running QB like Tee Martin and all the offense can come up with is a toss sweep? Against one of the fastest defenses in the SEC? That team was so loaded.

The one against Florida was Tee Martin's fault, he changd the play at the line.

Fresh wounds, man. Ainge is my boy but that play hurt. I will be able to say it's his fault in time but right now I'd like to think the offensive line just layed down any time Ainge went under center.

The 2001 Georgia game...the end of it was just dumb. From the squib kick to the non-defense...

Almost forgot...the play before halftime against Notre Dame in 2004...another game we should have won.
