I don't understand why any Vols fan would want to go witness the slaughter that is going to happen Saturday. Cash in. Sell your tickets to a UGA fan for three or four times face value and enjoy a beautiful Fall Saturday.

Absolutely disgusting how many fair weather fans we have and how many are calling it quits on these kids and posting their tickets on the ticket board. No way that many people can just suddenly not make it on a beautiful fall weekend.

I support win or lose and will be there giving my all!!
I would say the players quit against mizzou but i dont think they ever showed up and you want to call out the fans....hahahahahahahahahahahahahhahaha

Especially don't get totally dominated the week before
That was my point.

People will pay good money to watch the Vols, but not if they are not in contention. The average fan will lose interest and would rather spend their hard earned money on something they will enjoy rather than on watching someone they love get beaten.

I've been following the Vols since the 1970s.

When you lose to Missouri the way the Vols did you can't expect people to have high hopes for beating UGA.
I can expect people to show up and support the team. We’re 7-3, not 3-7. We can beat anyone in the country and we can also be beaten by a lot of teams. We’ve won our last 14 at home and This is a huge opportunity to go beat a rival , and for those lucky enough to be a reasonable distance to go to the game they should take it. We get 6/7 Saturday’s out of the entire year to go to Neyland Stadium to watch the Vols play and people take that for granted. Not many people have that opportunity when you live a pretty good distance away. I would be there in a heartbeat on Saturday if I could . I certainly wouldn’t be on here bitching that the Vols hurt my feelings last week bc we played poorly against Mizzou and then decide not to go.

I don’t think it’s possible for a vol fan to be fair weather at this point. Anybody who still claims this program after the last two decades is arguably the most loyal fan on earth. Best fans in the country hands down. Don’t bash the fans bc the product stinks. Blame the product

a weekend in Knoxville cost $1500 between hotels, food, gas, ec. that’s not including the tickets! I am not spending that kind of money to watch us lose by 20. I sold my tickets on here.

Seriously - typically I drive up the day of, but have stayed a few times due to already being in the area - have NEVER paid anywhere near that for hotels, food and gas - more like a 2 to 3 hundred and we stayed in a decent hotel.

It should end up being a sellout anyway. People like me, who can't really afford to pay 5 or 600 for nosebleeds, especially since I already spent an arm and a leg taking my son to watch the Vols lose to UF, will be looking now. We were just talking about it, but I am 5 hours away.

I actually agree with everything you are saying. It's just that people can't complain about someone being no longer willing to spend big money like they would've before getting clobbered by Missouri.

My wife just said I could go.

Here is one place. Several similar for this weekend.

Well, if you wait to the day of arrival to book a downtown hotel, I guess that's what you get.

I booked hotels for this season about 10 months ago and haven't paid more than $120 a night for the Strawberry Plains LaQuinta
