Tennessee Governor's Race

The Republican nominee for governor, Bill Lee, donated money to Chuck Shumer's candidate for the Tennessee senate, the democrat nominee for governor, Karl Dean, and disgraced Leftist Megan Barry.

I may not vote in the governor's race.

He did donate but in small numbers, he also donated something like 200K to R candidates

I’m independent- to the right on some issues and left on others. I have no party loyalty. And I really don’t like when one party controls all three branches of govt because it’s unhealthy for democracy.

Didn’t vote today, but am voting for Bredeson in November. Can’t stomach Blackburn. She’s a pandering fraud.

Just my opinion and not going to change it, nor do I expect to change anyone else’s so not hear to debate it, nor insult anyone else’s views.

I don't like Blackburn either, but Schumer's puppet won't represent Tennessee well. He will be a straight partisan left wing hack, he won't have an option.

Sad the election, like 2016, has come to which turd is less smelly.
As long as you and the rest of the electorate continue to play this "lesser of two evils" game, then nothing will get fixed. That is why voting doesn't matter anymore.

Lee’s race to lose. I found one hypothetical poll that had Dean ahead of Black by 4 points, and she came in third. Democrats will have to vastly increase turnout from last night to even have a chance.

Last night was the first time I’ve seen a Blackburn ad here. Bredesen has been pretty sparse too.

I can't recall seeing any Blackburn ads but I've seen plenty of Bredesen.

I have seen many ads run by Chuck Shumer's candidate, including one ad that stated he did NOT raise taxes as governor.
The ads I saw were in the Memphis TV market.

Lee will have to increase his support in West Tennessee if he hopes to win.

I'd have to somewhat disagree here. It wont be a hard switch to make from Boyd, Harwell, Black, to Lee as opposed to Dean in West Tennessee. Most of the Rs ran on pretty much the same platform. I think it will be an easy switch come Nov.
