How many times is Lanier going to pass up a wide open lob to Okpara in order to miss a jumpshot? Good Lord.

If he can make 40% plus of his 3s he won’t need to. I’ve seen enough 2 for 20 and 3 for 25 shooting over the last couple of years to last the next 50 years.

That may be true but Lanier’s had open big men near the basket but opted to shoot instead. It’s early, I’m not griping - much - just hope we find those open guys when it’s for real.

This team definitely isn’t afraid to shoot the ball, which is something we haven’t always done. Lots of times we pass up shots. Gotta actually make some of them though. Not surprising though since offense always takes awhile to get going early in the season.

Missing open looks but we are making it to Easy in open floor scoring for IU. Half court D is good however.
