I've read UK boards before, but I've never created an account and started posting, because I think it would eventually lead to trouble.
It has to be difficult to post with positive intentions on a rival board, because if you earn the respect of the "locals," the knuckleheads from your fan base will inevitably put you on the spot for your loyalties. The UK trolls interpret HF's bashing of them as a bashing of UK.
If I posted on a UK board, and a pack of Vol trolls showed up, I'd be put on the spot. I doubt I'd be able to maintain respect from the UK locals for very long, because it'd be hard to have to side with BBN in putting the orange trolls in their places. And, if I wrote some of the stuff I write on VN on a UK board, I'd be the troll.
