Tennessee is going to hang 45+ on Florida

I knew some fans would do something like this. It’s week one. Will we beat UF in the Swamp? Yes. Are we gonna run them out of their own building? I don’t think so. Some are acting way too cocky from this game. It’s not gonna be that easy.
I totally agree. Lets play them one at a time and dont make assumptions off one game.

That's never been the question. The question is how many are we going to give up to them. I don't care how good we are or how bad they are, as long as we are playing Florida, anything can happen

It's still in The Swamp. Don't care how bad they suck, they always play us good down there. It'll start close but we'll pull away at the end.
Yup. We were twice as good a team as South Carolina last year but couldn’t handle pressure at night on the road in a hostile venue.
If this team can get over that hurdle, then they are Championship ready. This is where we prove ourselves.

Utah played with 1/3 of their starters out, including their QB. Florida is in trouble every week IMO.

The goal for the Florida game is for the Volunteers to shut out the gators at home and run up the score so bad that it makes Doering cry on air during the SEC now broardcast. What a gator tool he is.

Title says it all. Florida sucks and they only looked half way decent on offense because Utah fell apart in the second half. They are getting smoked in SEC play
By fell part you mean got a pick and forced e turnovers on downs and completely deleted Floridas run game? That falling apart? They gave up 1 score. Florida looked halfway decent on one drive the whole game and even that is a stretch. Florida looked like a directional university out there. Imagine if Utahs had their starting QB healthy? They spanked them with backups and gave up 0 sacks and 4 tfls fir 4 yards pac12 oline vs SEC defense....putrid.

They were pretty bad. I have to imagine the penalty thing will be cleaned up by Week 3. We’ll see.

You'd think that. Then again, one would not expect the team to be so poorly prepared as to have two guys on the field with the same number at the same time.

Milton looked like Milton today. The second half focused on running the ball and short safe throws. Play calling to hide Milton’s bad passing won’t work against SEC teams. Don’t have a good feeling about the game at FL with him at QB

Go cower in a corner then, and don’t celebrate with the rest of us when this team wins 10+ games again this year.

He had one bad drive??? Some people just love to reach. The throw to Keyton that was dropped and McCoy in the corner of the end zone was perfect

What exactly are you implying?
That I don’t see us being able to put 50+ on UF. We didn’t put 55 on UVA without their best pass rusher. UF has more talent and speed on defense. I think you would agree with that. The offense sputtered quite a bit today early. Milton is gonna have to play better than he did today. He played good but his passing is gonna have to improve.

What did you see today that makes you believe we can hang 50+ on UF in the Swamp? I think we win but not like that.

Virginia played to prevent the deep ball. We did short passes bc that's what they gave us. Honestly, it was more encouraging to me to see Milton making check downs and short throws than trying to throw long bombs. We know he can do that. I was very pleased with how he played. Had Ramel caught that long bomb, we would have been talking about Milton playing a near perfect game.

Exactly! It's never easy down there. Not sure where all the overconfidence on here is coming from. We haven't won at the Swamp in forever, rarely have we won 2 in a row in the series the last30+ yrs. We weren't good enough passing today to be so overconfident. Particularly on passes over 10 yards and the 3rd down offense was horrid. Definitely have to clean that up.

Your comment of "after what we just saw" made me think that you thought we stunk it up today.

This is my stance as well

From someone who's watched Tenn football for more than a season, I wouldn't dump the Gatorade jug on coach just yet. We barely squeaked by last year with a very talented team.
