David Pollack is a Georgia shill. Never says anything good about UT and never will. I don’t pay any attention to anything he says about UTI enjoy that David Pollock has the Volunteers on upset alert.
The Wildcats need a any given Saturday to beat a great Volunteers team.
They need to win the turnover battle
Get pressure on Hooker
Win TOP by being able to run the Football
These three is highly achievable for the great Georgia Bulldogs, however for the Kentucky Wildcats it is slim when they play the great Tennessee Volunteers in Rocky Top
Since they are playing in Rocky Top so most likely the Wildcats are going to have issues even if they commit less penalties than the Crimson Tide.
I really don’t see the Wildcats being able to upset a playing great Volunteers team in Rocky Top for the stated reasons above.
They keep trying to apply the transitive property to this game by thinking because they won in 2020 in Knoxville that they got this in the bag. Looking forward to UT breaking it to them on Saturday that this isn't a Pruitt coached team being lead by JG and average 21 points a game...
I look forward to watching Tennessee crush Kentucky, to see them driven before them, and hear the lamentation of their fans.I’m unsurprised they would use that flimsy reason as an argument for why they defeat the Volunteers in Rocky Top.
Wildcats fans are going to be drinking a lot of alcohol when they watch the disappointment of the Volunteers outplaying an outmatched Wildcats team.
Any realistic Wildcats fans will be saying to the rose colored glasses Wildcats fans I told you the Volunteers would score more than 28 points, and the Volunteers would defeat an outmatched Wildcats team in Rocky Top.
Both LSU and UF played desperation mode out of the gate, combined 10 4th down attempts. UF converted those to make it a game, LSU did not and it was a curb stomping. I don’t know which side of that coin UK lands on but I expect them to try their luck in a similar way.I fully expect KY to pull out every trick in their playbook to try and gain any advantage. I'm willing to bet it begins in the 1st quarter which is a sign of pure desperation. By the 2nd half they'll be like that beaten rented mule mentioned above.
Mark stoops has a losing record out of the bye.I have no doubt at all that UT is a better team than Kentucky and we should definitely win this one, but I'll admit to being more nervous about this game than any other this season.
1. The odds are so much higher now and have more to lose.
2. Kentucky isn't as good, but are built to better withstand the UT style. Not that they can keep up in a shootout, but that they slow the game down and eat up clock when they have the ball to limit our touches and take us out of a rythm.
3. Stoops is a good Coach and has had an extra week to game plan and his team to practice. This is also their Super Bowl this year and a revenge game. They'll be locked in and ready.
4. Kentucky is better than their record shows.
5. We're the third tempo team they've seen this year after Ole Miss and MS State. Neither have our offense or Hooker, but do have 120 minutes of tempo experience coming into the contest.
I hear ya. But a lot of those game changing scenarios you mentioned is due to a lack of focus, and I believe they are gonna be focused in this game.I don't fear a letdown, I only fear a stackup of game changing conditions on offense keeping us from completing drives like we have all year. Where and when we mix in bad bounces, bad breaks, bad reads, bad calls, missed blocks in short yardage, over throws, drops, fumbles and of course GREAT plays by their defense too scares me. If we don't see the punter more than normal, I really like our chances.
He will never forgive Tennessee for beating Georgia 19-14 in Athens in his Senior Season in 2004.
I look forward to watching Tennessee crush Kentucky, to see them driven before them, and hear the lamentation of their fans.
One day you guys will realize this is a different staff, different mentality, resulting in a more focused and different team. This team, unlike the past teams, understands the we're only as good as our next game mentality. They know the importance of treating each game as a one game season. They're locked in each week and this prevents the let downs that the BVS won't let you forget and get over.
