Tennessee is not going to overlook Kentucky

I hear ya. But a lot of those game changing scenarios you mentioned is due to a lack of focus, and I believe they are gonna be focused in this game.

Not fearing a total breakdown, but a few of those stopping a few drives in a row can change a game. I fear the reaction of some of the Vol faithful more than a demoralized squad, especially those that are loading up expectations for the team to lofty heights. I just want a win.

There are reasons for people holding grudges like Kirk Herbstreit hating Tennessee and Tennessee fans because of the Greg Schiano Situation.

Kirk doesn’t seem like a Volunteers hater this year which no doubt because they’ve consistently shown to be a great team so he gives respect for a great 2022 Volunteers team.

If we're counting Florida as a good win for us, then I'd say 10 points on the road for them is one.
MS State by 10 is also a good one.
Ole Miss wasn't a win, but kept it within 3 on the road for a decent showing.

Our wins have been more impressive

He licked his finger and put it up in the air to see where the wind is blowing

Josh Heupel > Chuck Norris.

Hell yeah I said that.

And this, this, and this too.

I just don't see any energy with Heupel, and I don't see a track record that excites me at all. Maybe the fact that we spent all this money for this 'rock star' AD, and he goes home and hires his buddy has me a little less than enthusiastic. It bodes of nepotism and cronyism. If CJH wins, I will gladly eat crow.

You are really convinced that Heupel is the next General, aren't you?

With what WRs? You think all of a sudden that we decide to throw deep that we magically have wide receivers that can get open?

A little late to this thread but ill add to it.
I was a collegiate athlete (albeit at a much smaller school than UT) and we were taught. If you underestimate an opponent you’ll under-play them and if you under prepare for a competition you’ll always hit your mark. These guys are competitors. They will be ready for tomorrow. It may take 1 or 2 of them a hit or two to get into it, but most of them will be in it from the kickoff. And I know Heup and crew want to win this one. These Vols are in ready to win.
