Tennessee Lady Vol News

Maybe not, but are any of the other locations better? I wouldn’t mind another shot at UConn, better defense and make our shots, we can play much better than we did. Then NC State as that 1 seed.
I wouldn't mind another shot at them on a neutral court, but why would we want to play them again in front of their 10 thousand fans. They don't lose at home haven't this season even when they were down to seven players.

So much basketball to be played which is a good thing
Yes I think we need four wins out of the next six and then maybe a game in the tourney to remain in the top sixteen. I think we should win five of the six left we'll see if that happens. The top sixteen is important, but we can feel confident that were in the tourney no matter what happens that has not been true a few season in the past.

facts i think 4 wins and getting to the SEC finals does the same thing but 5 wins and the SEC final seals the deal and possibly puts us back at number 2 seed

The only “tough“ games they played before us, was an early in the season Arkansas, and later Nortre Dame, no wonder they’ve won all their games at home this year. Just think we can do much better, and count that first game as practice for the next game that means something. We’ve lost and won big away games. Any 1 ranked team will have an advantage on their court. Pick your poison.

I think the four SEC byes for two rounds are going to Sc, Tennessee, LSU, and Florida just don't know in what order they will be. Georgia looks like a six loss SEC team as does Ole Miss. If we could win our next three were virtually assured of a double bye in the SEC. Of course four wins in the next six seals it.

We were supposed to be a tough game as well. I have no problem if you want to play them again up there. Personally I don't won't another beat down from them on their home court in the same season. The point being they are much better up there than anywhere else. I think they beat Ga. Tech handily up there and Oregon also. I doubt they could handle SC anywhere they played.

They played at GA Tech and at Oregon. Any 1 seed team has the advantage, pick your poison.

My poison would be anyone but them. Their poison is a lot worse on me than anyone else. I would love to play them on a court in the south, north, or even the west, but they always get that region at home no matter how their season goes.

Still a very relevant program that makes WBB better when competitive. Large, passionate fan base, national exposure, and brand far exceed most programs. Hopefully some recruits understand the visibility and recognition they could have here.
That and we have had more Lady vols drafted to the WNBA than any other team in the country which will continue to grow over the next couple of years.
