What he meant is if we lose that game may as well close down the season and go home. We haven't lost to anyone in the SEC at home if we start with them then were done this season.

Not necessarily. The teams still below us have to play each other so that will cause more losses from them ie UGA vs LSU teams in the BIG10 and Big12 have to play some more. We can control our own destinies for sure but honestly a 13-3 /12-4 season doesn't take us out the top 16

The main point was if we can't win against Missouri at home probably not going to win most of those games either. That one game alone won't put us out of the top 16 but I think more than 6 losses will. Missouri is a terrible road team losing to them on the road would really be a tough pill to swallow.

Ok. but my point still stands about being able to host at home which is a big advantage ... 👌🏾

Exactly and a loss tomorrow and to Missouri puts you on the borderline to win most of the rest of the games actually all but one. That would mean a ranking around 16 to 20 and the pressure would be on.

like i said our destiny is in our own hands but we were already ahead of 12 teams and they would have to keep winning and us lose. There are plenty of games of top 16 teams against each other still to be played i just think we r in a better position to stay in the top 16.

Of course we gotta win but Oregon just lost to AZ so them at 14 gave same wiggle room. It's the total landscape not just us and our losses...

But winning solves all that i know. Anyways go LV and looking forward to many more wins!

I'm not excusing or doubting a loss puts us behind i'm just watching all teams...

BUT WIN BABY WIN and a win against uconn would go a long ways and a win against Mizzu (- tourney team right now) would benefit us too.

I think were probably around 10 now and not saying we lose tomorrow, but should that happen around 12 and loss to Missouri puts you on shaky ground. You don't only have to defend against the teams ahead of you but the ones behind and even the ones not ranked now. Of course winning tomorrow would change the entire picture for sure not that confident in our road play right now.

i'll be excited for them to get home and be able to stay home ,get treatment, and rest ...

I'm just not worried as much because i looked at other teams schedules and they all beat up on each other too which helps. That includes all the teams in the top 30 basically except uconn who doesn't have another legit game left except us and depaul so they'll prolly be in the top 16 regardless

i want the wins but i'm not panicking.

Not panicking but a loss tomorrow pushes us down to a three seed and loss to Missouri maybe still a borderline three or possibly a four. You can't get to five then your on the road.

maybe i'm just glad we aren't worrying about actually making the tourney lol regardless it's gonna b what it is and gonna b all good 😎

I don't ever remember watching coaches' press conferences. Perhaps too busy. Maybe, I believed answers to reporter's questions like, "I don't know" or "I'll have to review the tape" seemed like a waste of everyone's time.

But Coach Harper has changed my mind. I learn something new with every appearance. She is so transparent and thoughtful in her responses.

Kellie's answer to why we got outrebounded at Florida is a great example. Our front court players were not in rebounding position because our backcourt players never broke Flordia's pressure and initiated our offense.
To me this was an answer given after in- depth analysis. No "I'll have to review the tape"...she already had. No "I don"t know" which is never a good answer from a well compensated employee.

Very refreshing!
