Ok, totally random post here, but am just scratching my head on this one. Not that I give one s*it about Samantha Williams, but I just think this is interesting. After the announcement of her hire at MSST, I clicked on the tweet and got this notification that I had been blocked by her? hahaha I have never had ANY bad comment towards her on Twitter/X at all. Never followed her. Never even interacted with her on there. The only negative replies to posts on Twitter/X that I have EVER written are towards @theballoutsport. And look at their spin of her hire. "A grand slam hire!"

Methinks she may be affiliated with them because they are also always quoting Maria and sympathetic to her. Anyway, silly, but weird.

Yeah those folks all had VERY thin skin. Sam included, which is interesting for someone who liked to throw the occasional Twitter stone herself.

Could care less really, wish her the best but that looks like a disaster in the making to me. I think Purcell probably gets fired next season if they fall apart again and then she’ll be looking for another job.

You shouldn't take it so personal dazz
When a coach moves on they have to trim the fat off of their twitter
Right now she only needs ties to Tennessee that benefit her twitter account
She has blocked more than you, I know of another!

I would do the same thing, unless the person that is connected to TN is beneficial to my new position. I also know that when she blocked some, she began to follow others. Right now all she needs to know about Tn is what is pertinent to her position right now.

Don't take it personal dazz.
She is now in Miss St, just as most from TN let her g o, she has to let people go too

Doesn't seem like you understood what I wrote and was getting at.
I give zero sh*ts about her, have NEVER interacted with her or followed her, or ever had any comment about her at all and so I was just puzzled that I was blocked when I clicked on her announcement hire.
So, it's absolutely laughable that you would suggest that I am taking this personally. Incredibly off the mark of what I was suggesting which was more about suggesting some affiliation between her and The Ball Out Sports.
But on a side note, maybe she should focus more on her new job than blocking folks on X and scrolling through and managing who's following her and who she's following like you suggest she's doing.

This is really funny. I have had ZERO interest in the LVs in the last three years because of the program decline. I didn't even know who this woman was until I was reading her name on here after I regained interest with the new coaching change. So, no break up here. I just think she is weird.

Explains some recruiting issues. Too worried about Twitter followers and not landing players. She’s following 10K and has 20K following her.

Addition by subtraction if she has time to cleanse her followers.

Whether people care about or for Sam or not, she is actually regarded as one of the top recruiters in the country and has been for quite some time. She will get some players there. They've gotten two since yesterday.

I'm all things orange but she was instrumental in landing some of our top transfers and getting Nyla and Finley on the hook

Pretty sure she's had no job the last few weeks. Maybe some extra time? Making a life change, good time to clean things up.

Sam's a good one, on and off the court. Not happy she'll now be recruiting against us but wish her well. Didn't realize she and Sam P were together at Auburn as well. They're going to be a formidible pair.
