Yes they don't typically honor offers from a previous coach because it's not necessarily who they may recruit. It's a different system. I'd expect they will in time reoffer those they want to offer. They also would need to build relationships with the ones they are going to offer. Consider it essentially ground zero where we have one public hs offer our there which is nyla. I'd imagine we will see others soon

Sam's a good one, on and off the court. Not happy she'll now be recruiting against us but wish her well. Didn't realize she and Sam P were together at Auburn as well. They're going to be a formidible pair.

She has also been a recruiting coordinator for years so she more than any coach on staff would he following players, coaches, etc. It's not abnormal in mu opinion at all. Sam really didn't have time off. She was working the whole time recruiting for us and then was let go. She most likely was interviewing at Miss State off the bat once she learned her fate.

Especially with Vandy and TAMU listed to finish ahead of them on his list. He knows that Barker isn't coming back, right...?

IMO, none. I think Tennessee has exhausted their good will and benefit of a doubt over the course of the last two coaching eras. If she doesn't make a compelling case, then they aren't getting in.

OU and Texas joining the SEC just makes things harder, but it also means that the SEC will be the runaway most competitive conference this coming season.

Trust me, I know she won't get the benefit of the doubt, I just hope she is still given the great support by this fanbase if it is a tough first season for her.

Many are singing her praises now, but will that same love be there if she struggles and we fail to win 20 games and miss the tournament altogether.

The bigger question is how would DW take a first time missed NCAA tournament?
That just makes me sick to think about!

We were more likely to find out next season if a change wasn’t made. I think our risk of missing the tourney is lower now than it was.

Please remember that last years team was in real danger of being the first team to miss the NCAA tournament for about 2/3 of the season. If we had not had Rickea to ride like a rented mule it would have been.

We’re building a much more solid TEAM built around a scheme and a team strategy. Not built around 1 elite player who can carry the rest.

If we get our targets, this is the team that should have been built around Rickea, now we will have a supporting cast without a star, we need to have it all together, that’s what can win us Championships.

I agree. If CKC fails to make the tournament with this team, it's unlikely that Kellie would have either. I think we were all pretty much expecting that already/

My thought did not involve what Kellie would or would not have done next year. That horse is dead. Please stop beating it. Strictly, is a missed tournament a red line for ADDW? That’s all. No comparison between staffs etc.
