Tennessee Lady Vol News

People forget just how great an athlete Carter was (is), and had she not had to give up playing due to injuries ... if she'd been HEALTHY for four years? I always believed she could have been one of the top 20 all-time greatest Lady Vols. She had SO much potential.

Of course, because she had to give up playing the sport, in her desire to stay connected to it , wisOn top he took up broadcasting, and IMO she is already (IMO) one of the top 20 analysts on the air today. She is actually my personal favorite. What a talent!
On top of that, she was a phenomenal student, winning the Authur Ashe scholar athlete award.

Interesting that Tennessee had the highest amount of nil money 533000 for womens basketball with the average being over 35000 per player. Hopefully this will continue and we'll get a strong portal and 2026 freshman class.
Those estimated are for 2025-2026 academic year.
Combineing NIL and revenue sharing.
It doesn't say Tennessee is currently giving each player 35,000 average per player NIL deals.
Only public university are sharing what their athletic department is generating money wise.
Nobody knows what % each university will share revenue on women's basketball until they can share some of univeruniversity's athletic revenue.
Only thing for sure each university can not spend more than the overall cap 20.5 millon

looks estimated numbers come from Patrick. CPA ... Not knoting him just a estimaded. interesting to see all public revenue sharing per school per sport at each public school after 2025 2026 academic year.

**Revenue does not include direct or indirect school support, students fees or unrecommended contributions to the athletic department from alumni or boosters
That's at the bottom of the estimated of revenue sharing you posted

Be nice if that settlement ruling that they have talked about the over seeing of NIL deals by someone independent comes to pass.
More information on women's basketball NIL deals comes out and revenue sharing for the 2025-2026 academic year comes out for private and public university's

If we can just get by Texas I just know we could beat Norte Dame or TCU. Neither of those teams has any depth and we could run them down. Texas has just enough they should be able to hang with us. How fun would a Final Four be in Kim’s first season?
Texas interior is the only thing that will give the Lady's a problem. The full court defense is much better now than the first meeting.

Oregon first per player $40,725
Illinois second per player $40,617
Tennessee third per player $35,539
University are not in order by highest paid per player
But he showing Tennessee spending more overall

Illinois $528,020
