In a normal year we have 7 teams in. I recall times where it was more than that. Surely you’re not insinuating the Big East will have more than 5 teams in?

The only thing you twist is your knickers trying to explain away your weak conference. Doubt you get two teams, same as it ever was in the AAC for Uconn. Would love to see the Connie’s play in a real conference where teams can you know, actually compete.
You got a taste of it last year, you played 3 SEC teams and won one in OT at home, fought hard to win a close game at UT and lost at Ark. hello

I haven't defended a weak conference. You just tried some revisionist history by declaring all the UConn victories are from a weak conference. I just wanted to broaden your mind a little bit,

What our team has done is done. there's nothing we can do about it. Like Geno said we are in a league of our own (along with UT). Your problem appears to be you want to be there too. You seem to think you have achieved something or you wouldn't be hanging banners and building statues. Let me know when you matched Stanford, or Notre Dame or Baylor, let alone climbed the heights of Tennessee and UConn.

You have basketball to contribute which is great but let's all be honest the SEC is football country lol. Of course you would want to be in the SEC because it would only boost your profile you wouldn't exactly be adding to it for what it wants.

Yea, I get it. Our football program is something a lot of us try to forget. That as----le from BC blackballed us to the ACC. Nothing we can do about it, and now the BE makes us play 20 conference games. That gives us less games against the good teams like UT, something we need to stay relevant. Everyone likes to rag on us but we are stuck with no where else to go. We don't like it either.

It is SUPER difficult to go undefeated, no matter how talented and capable a team is.

Every team has warts, some more than others. Every team will show their warts 3-4 times in a season, going undefeated in conference is so hard to do.
