I will be glad to see some new players next season hitting for us. I think we bring back most of the productive ones. If the newcomers can fill the gaps we should be a lot better offense than this season. Some of these fifth year players have not had the kind of consistent years that was expected.

Such a bad decision to not challenge that first play. Very rarely will you get two calls overturned by instant replay in one game that the umps missed on the field.

I am just disappointed in the leadership on this team. From pitch 1 there didn’t seem to be energy throughout the team. You can’t start having energy once you start hitting. It has to be from the start of the game. There’s no one that stepped up and gathered the team around them

It’s amazing watching these teams out there with coaches who have adapted to the current game of softball and you watch the leadership and energy and passion from the coaches, which in turn, leads to the players having this. We don’t have that . It’s unfortunate. I want to see this for this program once again.

I don’t know about that. But I wonder if their leadoff hitter will even be able to play the second game. It looks like she’s struggling with the heat in Knoxville. Probably don’t see many 90 degree days in Corvallis.
